GENERAL INFORMATION AND FEES
The Peaks Youth Hockey Association (PYHA) is directed by Peaks Youth Hockey Coordinator, Megan Ostler and Arena Manager, Foster Watabe. The program is a registered affiliate with USA Hockey and play is governed by USA Hockey rules. Program staff and coaches generally follow USA Hockey's American Development Model (ADM) for youth hockey. The goal of the PYHA's Provo Predators program is to provide a high quality, affordable youth hockey experience for players of all skill levels and ages that will help them develop as players and individuals, and foster a life-long enjoyment of the game. Coaches, Team Managers, and Assistant Coaches are on a volunteer basis. Parents and Guardians are encouraged to participate in the program to help with team leadership, management, and the development and supervision of players.
PYHA fields teams at every age group ranging from 14U down to 6U. PYHA also fields teams in a wide range of categories at different levels of competition—from highly competitive to beginning recreation hockey. These categories include Tier II and Travel teams (these are the more competitive categories), and recreational teams divided into Division 1 (D1) and Division 2 (D2), based on skill and experience. PYHA also operates a "Learn to Play" hockey program for players who are new to the game and want to learn the basics at any age between 3-16. In sum, we seek to develop players from when they first step on the ice up through the highest levels of competitive amateur hockey available.

If you played USA Hockey last year, your 2021-22 registration is only effective through 31 August 2022; all players need to re-register on the USA Hockey Website every September for the new season. Online registration for USA Hockey begins as early as 1 April 2022 for the season beginning the following Fall. No player can play in any games until they are registered with USA Hockey and the player has been added to their team's official USA Hockey roster.
